Absolute game changer for me in terms of dental anxiety. I called Mordern Dentistry yesterday with a fractured tooth that had gotten infected, and they agreed to see me last minute (I’m pretty sure it was closing time when I arrived). Sweaty palms, shaky hands, mind racing a thousand miles a minute, embarrassed, trying not to cry, unbearable pain that landed me in the ER the night before- I was just a mess. And so scared of the pain I thought was coming. Except it was never painful. Dr Kyle is one of the best dentist I’ve ever met. He was patient, and didn’t make me feel judged. In fact, he and the dental assistant Makenzie were actually rooting me on during the procedure. Literally making me laugh while my mouth was open. I never felt ashamed once. And he was right, it was only as painful as getting numb. The rest was just my mind calming down. I couldn’t exactly afford the procedure last minute, and he even adjusted the price for me! This is the coolest office. Dr Kyle warned that I’d be sore after the numbness wore off, and probably today too. I woke up today feeling like a new person. Absolutely zero pain. No more infection. No need for Tylenol. This was an absolute blessing for me. I have a deep clean coming in August, that they scheduled me for on their “We serve you day” which is a once a year event where they offer free dental work. I’m actually looking forward to it now. I’m telling you. If you’re anything like me in a sense of dental fear- call Powers Modern Dentistry. One of the best choices I’ve ever made in terms of caring for myself and my dental health.
